We really enjoyed this RV park. The hosts were very nice and helpful. This is a great overnight place. The lots are very clean and well-kept. Not a low-rent district. We would stay here again in a hearbeat. We paid $25/night total including tax for a full hook-up, 50 Amp service with a "Good Sam Discount" only in this park. We honestly cannot say enough good things about this park.

The $25 per night is the "Escapee's RV Club" rate. Other discount rates are also available. The pull-throughs are very nice. We were treated very courteous upon check-in. For a nominal fee, a cookout was available and breakfast is also available for a very reasonable rate. The streets are paved and lots are graveled. Very well kept campground. We would stay here again. It is close to I-40 but absolutely no road noise.

Price includes 50amp service, tax, and "Good Sam" discount rate. Very nice long, pull-through sites. Close to the road but no road noise. Easy on-off from the Interstate. Great place to spend the night. Plenty of room between spaces. Can handle any size RV. Campground host was very nice.

The campground host was a wonderful man. He assisted us in parking our motorhome in a nice, long, shaded lot. We had shade but not the long, overgrown branches as we have found in many other parks. The place may be a bit run down but the host was extremely accomodating. Our GPS indicated that we were at the park: when we were not actually there (it was several blocks off our destination). I called the park and the campground host told me that he would pull his white golf cart out front so that when I drove by, I would see it. How many hosts would go out of their way and do that? We felt very comfortable and safe here and would definitely stay again. I would have given it a 10 but it was a bit run down. The 50amp service, water andsewer all worked just fine. No real complaints about anything.

The $27.00 per night includes taxes. Although the sites are not necessarily shaded, we had two trees and were able to sit outside in the shade. The only problem we had was road noise from the highway next to us. The owners were very nice and accommodating.

Exit 138 on I-90W. We saw their sign and noticed it was $20 a night plus $1.50 tax. There were no hidden charges. We stayed two nights to get us through the 4th of July. The management was very courteous and told us if we needed information or assistance to let them know. They also told us that they were having a free 4th of July Bar-B-Cue and fireworks for the folks camping here at the park. We did not have a problem getting into the park. The lots are long and level. Also, shade trees are plentiful and well spaced and do not interfere with your RV. Our overall experience was a pleasant one and we would stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Gravel sites and pull-through sites are very level. This is a Passport America campground. This campground is close to the Interstate but we ran the air conditioners so the noise level was minimal. We stayed here two nights and would stay again.

The rate we paid was the "Passport America" one-half price rate of $18 per night plus $1 per day for electric. We had a nice long pull-through lot. The lot was on the grass but it was level. There was no road noise. The only problem we had was an overhead light that kept going off and on during the night. Our biggest complaint was the barking dogs that were allowed to be tied up outside. This campground is mostly people who live here all year; however, they do not have junk piled up as in many campgrounds. If you enjoy fishing, there is beach access with a fish cleaning area. The campground hosts were very nice and helpful. This is a nice place to escape the summer heat. If we were to stay here again, I would ask the manager why they allow dogs to be tied up and left outside to bark at each other and people who are walking their dogs. Since we were only here for two days and out most of the time, we did not mention it.

We have stayed here in the summer for the last three years and always enjoy it. The river front lots are the same price as the other lots. You just have to reserve them several months up to a year in advance. The owners and their assistants help you park your rig and are always available to help you in anyway possible. We highly recommend staying here.

Very nice and well-kept RV park. Spaces are a bit tight for a motorhome with four slides. We found one 30 Amp site that would work for us. Best to call ahead to ensure you obtain the site you require that will handle your slides. This is a nice quiet park. It is a good location to travel from for various sights in and around the area.

This park is supposed to be a Passport America Park one-half price RV park, but when we arrived, we were informed that since they are so full that they are not accepting the Passport America rates. If they are in the Passport America Book, they should honor the rates regardless of occupancy demand. Due to the false advertising, I will not stay here again or recommend any of our Passport America Friends ot this park.

Very nice managers and RV park. This is not a place to spend a week or month. Just a great Passport America RV Park for one or two days. The pull-throughts are nice and long. We have 50 Amp service. Cell service is poor but we have a computer with an AT&T air card and the service is great (especially since I am on it now). Yes, it is dusty - but for $15/night on Passport America - we cannot complain. Give it a try - we feel it is worth it. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a "Passport America" park so the rate quoted in the one-half price rate. Without the "Passport America" rate, it is $25. The resort is gated. This is why I gave it a 10 rating. It is well landscaped and picnic tables at each lot. The roads and pads are gravel. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We are staying here three nights as it is a peaceful place and we just wanted some downtime to rest.

We went into the Motel/Restaurant to inquire how much we would need to pay to just dry camp overnight. To our surprise, they told us just to pull-in where the other RV's were and we could dry camp free for the night. Not much in this part of Wyoming, so we decided to just dry camp and not unhitch our tow vehicle. To show our appreciation, we decided to go in and have supper at the restaurant. It was excellent. The special was trout, potatoes, fresh cooked vegetables, salad, or clam chowder. We decided to have the daily "special" and it was marvelous. Real mashed potatoes, home-made clam chowder, and super fresh salad. If you have room, you get a free cone of ice cream. For two meals, we only paid $25 plus a tip. It is a busy place, but since the staff was so friendly, we would stay again in this remote part of Wyoming. Glad we did, as it was an adventure and like a small oasis in the desert.

We stayed here in 2005 and 2009. This resort has only gotten better with age. Laundry facilities are clean and excellent. Walking trail around park has "doggie pick up bags and stations". Excellent location and just all around beautiful. If I could rate this park a 100 rather than ten, I would do so. Even though the roads are gravel, you do have a concrete pad and picnic table. Will stay here again next year - maybe even a month as there are so many things to do and see in this area.

Very nice campground. We got "Passport America" rate of $20 for one night. We opted for a second night for $40 because we want to go to the River Walk at night time. The staff was fabulous. There are full-timers here but they were not too "trashy" looking as they are at many parks we have stayed in. The roads are paved. Pull-throughs are gravel with concrete pads. Would certainly stay here again, especially overnight with the "Passport America" rate.

This is a "Passport America" (PA) Park. Regular rate is $20, PA rate is $10, plus $2 for Electric, plus $2 for cable. Also, a $2 fee if you want to wash your rig. How it got into PA is unknown to us. The PA directions were wrong. I had to call to find out how to get there. Once there, we took one look and left. It is in a less than desirable part of town. I would feel safer staying at a rest stop. We took one look and left. We are not picky, but this was beyond us even feeling safe.

We read the other reviews of this RV park. Decided to go ahead and splurge and get the 50 Amp on Lot 21. Road noise from I-40 is not bad on Lots 20, 21, and 22 which are pull-through lots. Regardless of the other reviews we read, we are not at all disappointed. The hostess was very accommodating and told us if we needed anything to come to their house directly in front of the park. $17 including tax plus full-hook-up (PA discount)is not a bad deal for a park with 50 Amp service. We are very pleased. We plan to go to the Petrified Forest tomorrow and just wanted a place to stay for a couple of nights. Yes, we recommend this park and would stay here again.

I gave this park a "10" because it is perfect for an overnight place to stay. We did not even have to unhitch. The lots are gravel but are kept in a very neat, orderly manner. It is easy to find and just off the interstate but not near any noise. This is a "Passport America" Park. We paid one-half price of $10.00. Would stay again.

Lovely, clean, quiet county park. Gates close around mid-night and reopen at 6:00 AM. We consider this one of the best RV parks we have been to. It only has 30 Amp electric service. Shiner Brewery is around two miles away. They give free tours of the brewery and free samples of their beers. I found out about the park by simply by typing in Shiner, Texas, on Google. This park will definitely be on our list as we go through Texas.

We arrived here around dark and camped here overnight. It is not too bad a place but many permanent people in the park. Roads and spaces were very narrow for a 38' Motorhome. We did not even put the slides out. This is a 50% off Passport America Park. Would probably stay overnight again but certainly not spend any time here. As with many RV parks in the United States, this place is in dire need for upgrading.

This park participates in all the local discount clubs. We thought the price was high even with the discount. Very nice and level park with pull-throughs that will accommodate any size rig. You have to park under pine trees but all in all, it was an enjoyable stay. It is in a nice quiet place but is close to I-95. You do not have a problem with road noise. The front desk employees were very nice. The park does not have the appearance of being a "low-cost housing area". Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at this park many times since it is close to our families. We like the park but it caters to the horse people more so than the average camper. If you make a reservation on-line, there is a charge of $7.50 just to make a reservation that is not reimbursable. What a shock! We stayed there around Thanksgiving week. We checked in but were not told that the water was turned off for the winter. After we got our rig in our spot, we found out that the water was shut off. It would have been nice if we were told this at check-in rather than getting to our lot and then finding out that we had to go to a certain place to fill our fresh water tank. We will stay here again since the Lexington, Kentucky area is very limited on Recreational Parks for people to camp.

We had a totally great experience at this resort park. We did not have a problem with personnel at check-in. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Our Internet was great. It was a bit expensive, but we were willing to pay for the convenience. Would definitely return again.

Good Sam park. Great for one or two nights. You have to watch out for directions. Trailer Life directory said to take Exit 177. There are two exits. Take the second 177 Exit. Trailer Life did not mention this nor did our Garmin 7500 GPS.

Friendly people running park. Good place to stay one or two nights with Passport America. The cost using it was $22 a night for a 50 amp, pull-through with full hook-ups. We had to stay two extra days and pay the full price. We felt full price was too expensive to stay in such a dusty place but understand they have to make their money during the Summer months. The town has many interesting historical places to visit.

Passport America park. Nice for one or two nights stay. We enjoyed sightseeing in the area. The couple that managed the park were very nice and helpful. We would stay there again. Train tracks ran at different times of the day and night. Tracks were probably one-half mile from campground but it did not detract us at all. We would stay at this park again for overnight or one or two days if you have not seen the sights of the Oregon Trail Ruts and parks.

Narrow and sites not level. This place was on a hill. We had no place to set our chairs outside due to sites being so narrow. This park was advertised in Military Living Camping and Outdoor Recreation Guide. We are prior military and feel this park is unrepresentative of the high military standards that we are used to. We asked why they were listed in the Military Recreation Vehicle, Camping and Outdoor Recreation Book and were told that they used to have three military trailers there. Their lodge may be OK but the sites were awful. They did give us a ten percent discount but it was not worth it. There is a nice park about 50 feet down the road that is much better and rates are about the same. I contacted the military personnel regarding this park being listed as a military park. All they did, was ask for suggestions to list other parks. Would never stay here again.

We love this park because the staff is so great. There are some sites that are hard for a big rig to get into. We usually try to stay at a space next to the bathroom because we can easily get our rig on it. The park does not have many lots for a big rig to fit into. It is a great place and I would dearly love to see the park obtain monies to upgrade it. We have eaten at the lodge and the buffet is great and always fresh and appealing. If one is lucky enough to get there on their monthly "Seafood Friday". We do not have any children but the Activity Manager always has events and outings for children. The staff has always gone above and beyond their normal duties to assist us. We are totally impressed with Blue Licks State Park.

This is a new up scale recreational vehicle resort. The sites are privately owned. There are still sites available for purchase, buyer receives a deed to the site. There are weekly and monthly rates. Many restrictions on the type, year, and size of your recreational vehicle. All sites are 15 x 40 concrete with an additional 15 x 30 concrete patio. Large clubhouse with meeting rooms, exercise room, convenience store, restaurant, and swimming pool. Water, sewer, electric (50 amp service) on each site. Laundry facilities at two bath houses. Public boat launch is one mile away. There are three spring fed fishing ponds on site and future boat storage in process of being built.

Nice state park campground. Can accommodate big rigs. Level gravel sites, most have shade. There is no water or sewer on the sites. We were not made aware that we needed to have a full tank of water. After we realized that fact, we had to close up and find a water spigot, fill our tanks, return to the site, and get reset.

Campground was very trashy, dirty and in decline. You have to travel 2 miles on a very dusty dirt road to get to the campground. Campground is full of fill time residents. On a positive note, the laundry room was very clean.

We could not level our 38 ft motorhome on a pull through. Campground is in decline. The office has been closed, you have to walk to the owners home to register. We paid 34.00, the site was worth 10.00.
